This is a reminder that the deadline to complete the following CBTs remains March 1, 2025:

  • Preventing Harassment and Discrimination
  • Allegiant Team Member Handbook
  • Allegiant Code of Conduct and Ethics

While a subsequent message mentioned March 30, 2025, please note that March 1, 2025 is the correct deadline.

A grievance has been filed regarding the appropriate rate of pay for completing these CBTs.

CPaTmobile Reminder:

  • Courses can be completed offline.
  • Ensure green checks are visible under each course tab.
  • Verify internet connection, then press “Force Sync” (top right) to sync completion data.

Please complete these requirements by the deadline to stay compliant.

RECAP: BNA & FLL Picket Events

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the recent picketing events in Nashville (BNA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). Your dedication and unity were on full display, sending a powerful message about our resolve for an industry-standard contract.

BNA (Nashville) – February 18th

The energy in Nashville was incredible! With the support of a Digital Advertising truck circling the terminal for 8 hours, our message reached thousands of passengers and airport visitors. After the picket, pilots came together for a luncheon, reinforcing the solidarity and commitment driving our campaign.

FLL (Ft. Lauderdale) – February 25th

Once again, a Digital Advertising truck amplified our message throughout the day.

Your participation is key to our success. With a 97% response in favor of a Strike Authorization, our unity and determination are louder than ever. The company may try to downplay our campaign, but our continued actions show our resolve and commitment to achieving an industry-standard contract.

Daytona 500 Digital Picketing

RECAP: Daytona 500 Digital Picketing Event

We are pleased to share the success of our recent digital picketing initiative at the Daytona 500 event in Daytona Beach. The Strategic Picketing Committee (SPC) strategically placed two Digital Picketing Advertising trucks outside the racetrack, ensuring our message reached a broad audience.

Event Highlights:

  • Location: Outside Daytona 500 racetrack, Daytona Beach
  • Duration: 8 hours
  • Exposure: High visibility reported by drivers

The feedback from drivers has been overwhelmingly positive, indicating that our digital picketing efforts significantly boosted the visibility of our message. This initiative not only helped publicize our cause but also demonstrated the power of innovative strategies in modern advocacy.

We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in making this event a success. Your dedication and hard work are instrumental in advancing our mission.

Upcoming Picket Events: BNA (2/18) FLL (2/25)

2025 UPCOMING APA LOCAL 2118 PICKET EVENTS

For all picketing events, the uniform of the day will include Wings and Epaulettes. Weather pending – Jackets with Epaulettes. No name tags or IDs.

February 18th – BNA (Nashville)

Details: For interested participants, please meet at McNamara’s Irish Pub & Restaurant @ 0830 for briefing. This is located at 2740 Old Lebanon Road, Nashville, TN 37314. Transportation to/from BNA airport for the picket will be provided.

Picket officially begins at 0900 and we will be positioned on the South end of Arrivals. A Digital Advertising truck will be circling the BNA airport terminal for 8 hours to help publicize our message. At the completion of the event, we will return to McNamara’s for a luncheon.

February 25th – FLL (Ft. Lauderdale)

Details: For interested participants, please meet outside of arrivals in front of Terminal 1 @ 0815 for a briefing. After briefing, we will proceed to the Credentialing Center as a group to pick up authorization badges as required per the permit.

Picket officially begins at 0900 and we will have pilots positioned in authorized zones in each of the terminals based on participation numbers. A Digital Advertising truck will be circling the FLL airport terminal for 8 hours to help publicize our message. At the completion of the event, we will gather at Pirate Republic Restaurant located at 400 SW 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 for a luncheon.

As our growing number of picketing permits reach approval across the country, we will continue to provide updates to this list and show Allegiant through action, not words, just how serious we are about resolving our demand for an industry-standard contract once and for all.Remember, with a 97% response in favor of a Strike Authorization, we continue to demonstrate our unity through these pickets. Your participation is key! The company has attempted to downplay our campaign to investors, media outlets, and Allegiant customers; however, our clear resolve through demonstrated action can no longer be ignored. It is time to recognize and respect the pilots who keep this AIRLINE both profitable and on the path to growth once again.

Important Reminder: CBTs Training

Per the Union’s January 24, 2025 Message, this is a reminder that Pilots have until March 1, 2025, to complete the Preventing Harassment and Discrimination, the Allegiant Team Member Handbook, and the Allegiant Code of Conduct and Ethics CBTs. A subsequent message referred to March 30, 2025. The March 1, 2025 date remains in effect. A grievance been filed over the appropriate rate of pay for completing these CBTs.

Teamster Scholarships Available

We are excited to share several scholarship opportunities available for students pursuing college, vocational, or training programs. These scholarships provide financial assistance to high school seniors who meet specific eligibility requirements, including being a financial dependent of a Teamster member in good standing. Below are the details for each scholarship, including deadlines and application instructions. Be sure to review the requirements carefully and apply before the deadlines!

James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund (JRHMSF)

Deadline: March 1, 2025
Award Amount: $1,000 – $10,000 (Academic) & $500 – $2,000 (Vocational/Training)
Eligibility: High school seniors in the U.S. or Canada who are financial dependents of Teamster members.

1) Click here (https://apa2118.org/app/) to log in to the Union website and access links to download the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. (Don’t skip this step! You must login to the union website to activate your access to the mobile app.)

2) Click the appropriate link to download the app to your device.

3) After the app has been downloaded, please proceed to log into the mobile app with the same username/password you used to access the apa21118.org website.

More to Come:

We consider this version of the mobile app to be version 1.0. While we are aware of a few kinks which need to be worked out, we decided not to delay the release of this invaluable tool to our pilot group any longer. Rest assured that many of the enhancements which we’ve requested are already in development. For example, in-app notifications are not currently working as expected, but this issue has been identified and the team is already taking steps to resolve it.

In the meantime, we encourage your feedback. Use the designated areas of the crew forums to report bugs and/or request new features. We’ll keep your feedback in mind as we roll out updates in the future.

Lost or Forgotten Passwords: If you have never logged in to the Union website or have forgotten your password, please use the Lost Your Password Link at the bottom of the login box. Enter your username or email address and a link to reset your password will be sent to you. **Be sure to use your PERSONAL email address (not your union or company email address).

Email Not Found: If your personal email is not found in the system, then proceed to the Membership Access Request Form. After you complete and submit the form, please allow up to one business day for our office to verify membership and process your request.

CPaT Error

Allegiant Pilots,

An error has been discovered regarding the records logging completion of CPaT CBTs. As a result of this error, a few pilots have reported to the Steward group that they were Removed From Service Unpaid (RFSU) for not completing their CBTs in CPaT.

This RFSU occurred even despite the pilots not only having completed their CBTs, but also showing their own proof of completion which was done prior to the 31JAN deadline.

If you or anyone you know has been RFSU’d due to this error, and the courses were completed on time, we ask that you do the following:

  1. Using your web browser, access the “Completion Report” on the allegiantair.cpat website.
  2. Save the completion certificates from the website.
  3. Please forward completion certificates and/or any screenshots showing completion with time stamps to Stewards@apa2118.org.

Thank you for your help as we collect all available data and resolve this with the company as expeditiously as possible!
